Are you passionate about supporting young children in their early stages of development? A welcoming primary school in Nottingham is seeking an enthusiastic and dependable EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years provision from September.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous experience working in an Early Years or primary school setting
• Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• A caring, enthusiastic and professional approach to supporting children
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• A relevant Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare is desirable

THE ROLE:

This full-time EYFS Teaching Assistant role involves supporting children in Nursery or Reception, working alongside the class teacher to deliver engaging activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). You will help children settle into routines, access learning through play, and develop their social, emotional and communication skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support the delivery of age-appropriate learning activities
• Encourage children’s personal development and social interaction
• Assist with monitoring progress and contribute to pupil observations
• Create a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment
• Work closely with teaching staff and contribute to planning and assessment
