F-15 Japan Sustainment Engineer – Nagoya, Japan (Early career level) Company: Boeing Japan Kabushiki Kaisha Boeing Global Services (BGS) has an exciting opportunity for a talented and highly motivated engineer to join The Air Force Fighter & Strike Sustainment Engineering team in Nagoya, Japan as a Sustainment Engineer for the F-15 Japan program. This position will serve as an on-site technical interface to MHI, supporting the F-15 Japan Super Interceptor upgrade program, working closely with the F-15 Japan BGS Lead Engineer in St. Louis. This position will have direct technical interface with BDS counterparts, Program Management, and suppliers. This challenging position is critical to the sustainment and success of the F-15 Japan platform. This is a great opportunity to obtain a critical role on an incredible program that is modernizing the historic F-15 into a modern war-fighting machine. Position Responsibilities: Support BGS engineering team and provide technical input to work products, including SOW and proposal development, change incorporation, and obsolescence Support F-15JSI issues as an on-site Boeing presence at MHI, providing technical interface between MHI and BGS engineering, Program Management, BDS, and the supplier. Change document and Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) development in support of fleet issue corrections, repairs, and product improvement redesigns. Coordinate retrofit plans, schedules, and upgrade requirements with multiple Boeing Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) such as design, strength, fatigue, hydraulics, flutter, and retrofit. Ensure the technical correctness of offered solutions Perform timely root cause corrective action (RCCA) for engineering issues to improve first time quality Citizenship: Due to US Export requirements Japanese and/or US citizenship is required. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Ability to collaborate cross-functionally Fluent in English and Japanese Bachelors in engineering, math, science, chemistry Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Experience with technical oversight of suppliers Experience supporting military aircraft modifications Experience developing specifications, statements of work, and proposal estimates Experience coordinating with end user customers and suppliers Experience in aerospace industry Location: This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Boeing Nagoya office (supplier's office) Relocation: Domestic Relocation assistance is a negotiable benefit for this position.
