The role
MAG’s Finance & Accounting (F&A) Team are currently recruiting for an F&A Assistant Accountant to join on a permanent basis. This role will provide support to the F&A Finance Manager who is responsible for leading all Management Accounting activity for the Stansted Division ensuring that accurate, technically robust managements accounts are produced in a timely manner and in line with group finance service levels. You’ll ensure that accurate and technically robust management accounts are produced in a timely manner and in line with group finance service levels and support internal and external stakeholders and the meeting of agreed SLAs.
What will make you successful in the role?
You’ll be as a minimum qualified AAT or a part qualified accountant, studying towards ACA/ACCA/CIMA, with ambition and a “can do” attitude. You’ll have the ability to actively engage business stakeholders as well as the ability to manage multiple priorities and to thrive under tight deadlines and high-pressure situations. You’ll have relevant experience of working within a General Ledger function at a similar level, experience of SAP or similar ERP systems and you’ll need intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
