Sheraton Mirage Port Douglas Resort is seeking a “Food and Beverage Attendant – Banquets” to join our Team. We’re looking for someone who is ready to go beyond in everything they do. This is a great opportunity for local residents with all training provided for people with a genuine drive to improve your life and the lives of those around you.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THESE POSITIONS YOU WILL NEED TO POSSESS THE FOLLOWING MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Able to work a 7 day a week rotating roster
• Immaculate grooming standards
• Strong communication skills & attention to detailResponsible Service of Alcohol Certificate of Attainment

• Assist all guests with menu, dietary requirements and recommendations
• Ensure accuracy with requests, orders and service delivery
• Use of POS system
• Ensure all service areas are immaculate
• Maintain standards of hygiene and food handling
• Provide food and beverage service in line with Marriott brand standards to our Conference Guests.
• Assist in room set up for Conferences, Events, Tradeshows, meetings and other eventsClear and rest tables and ensure service areas are clean and tidy
