Job Description Provide a consistent and high-quality personalized food and beverage service to all the guests, ensuring policies and procedures are adhered to customer service, cleanliness and personal development. Demonstrate a high degree of Velaa’s culture and service standards awareness and acts as a role model to other colleagues. Efficiently and accurately take orders according to Velaa service standards. Coordinate service with colleagues and work as a team. Maintain a clean, organized, safe and orderly work area and ensure to follow the HACCP & general hygiene standards and operating procedures. Create a comforting environment for guests and work on making personalized and memorable special moments for all guests. Qualifications Minimum 3 years' experience in food and beverage at a 5-star luxury hotel/resort. Certification in Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) level 2. Excellent interpersonal skills. Excellent command of written & spoken English, fluency in additional languages will be an advantage. Proactive and focus attention on guest needs, whilst always remaining calm and courteous. Previous experience with Leading Quality Assurance Standards and Forbes Travel Guide standards will be an advantage. Familiar with the HACCP standards in food handling and the MICROS POS system. Pleasant and charming personality with excellent grooming.
