About the Hotel The Courtyard by Marriott Kingston is a 128-room hotel, owned and operated by Easton's Group of Hotels. Located just off of the 401 hwy, it features 2 meeting rooms, the Bistro restaurant and a pool with a 100-ft water slide. What will you be doing? * Greeting all guests and taking beverage and food orders promptly and professionally * Preparing food and beverages for service to hotel guests and presenting food according to established health and presentation standards. * Performing side-work, and any other opening or closing duties as required. Ensuring that stations are clean and maintained throughout the shift. * Receiving guest payments and processing transactions. * Making appropriate service recovery gestures according to established guidelines. What are the requirements for this role? * Basic reading and writing abilities * Strong communication/customer service skills as a significant amount of time are spent interacting with guests * Alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit or valid health/food handler card as required by local or provincial government agencies. * Available to work any shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays and overnight when required

Responsibilities

The Bartender will greet guests, take beverage and food orders, and prepare food and drinks for service. They will also maintain cleanliness of the workstations and handle guest payments.
