ABOUT THE ROLE

Assist other departments when needed to ensure optimum service to guests. Read and visually verify information in a variety of formats (e.g., small print). Enter and locate work-related information using computers and/or point of sale systems as well as reservations systems. Exchange information with other employees using electronic devices (e.g., pagers and two-way radios, email). Engage guests in conversation regarding their stay, property services, and area attractions/offerings.

CRITICAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Enter and retrieve information contained in computer databases using a keyboard, mouse, or trackball to update records, files, reservations, and answer inquiries from guests.
• Proactively approach guests in hotel common areas and engage in communication to encourage patronage to hotel food and beverage venues, as well as hotel spa – assist with bookings for both.
• Assist with special event organizing and planning, and champion the reservation system software.
• Assist with general F&B admin duties
