Summary: The Food & Beverage coordinator supports the corporate F&B department with Toast POS programming, menu development, recipe book maintenance, and analytical reporting across multiple restaurant locations. This role is deeply operational and systems-focused, ensuring menu accuracy, consistent costing, and up-to-date recipe documentation while providing analytical insights that support decision-making.   RESPONSIBILITIES:  Toast POS Management & IT Support * Create, update, and configure menu items, modifiers, and categories in Toast POS. * Adjust pricing, tax settings, routing, and item mapping based on F&B directives. * Ensure all venues have accurate, consistent, and up-to-date POS menus. * Troubleshoot menu issues, mapping errors, and routing discrepancies. * Support pre-service testing to validate changes before going live. * Maintain organized database structures and naming conventions across POS platforms. Menu Development & Recipe Book Management * Assist chefs, mixologist, F&B leadership with new menu development, item setup, and menu rollouts. * Maintain and update the digital recipe book, ensuring recipes, yields, allergens, plating guides, and costs remain accurate. * Coordinate with culinary and beverage teams to gather updated recipes, corrections, and changes. * Ensure recipe documentation aligns with POS items, cost sheets, and menu descriptions. * Support menu engineering by reviewing portion sizes, yields, and cost implications. Data & Financial Analysis * Analyze menu performance, sales mix, guest ordering behavior, and average check trends. * Monitor food & beverage cost (COGS) indicators and variances to identify improvement opportunities. * Prepare weekly reports covering item performance, revenue trends, and cost analysis. * Evaluate the impact of menu changes or pricing updates on financial results. * Provide data-driven recommendations to support strategic decision-making. Cross-Functional Operations Support * Collaborate with chefs, mixologist, F&B leadership, operations managers, procurement, and IT. * Assist with coordinating menu launches, promotions, and recipe updates. * Attend internal meetings to align on upcoming changes and system requirements. * Maintain documentation for menu updates, POS configurations, and recipe revisions.
