Job Description Mise en Place: for meetings, luncheons, receptions, dinners, bars,etc Set up rooms for meetings Guest Engagement: Greet and welcome guests, responding courteously to requests. Service Excellence: Serve food and beverages in accordance with senior staff expectations, ensuring consistency. Cleanliness and Safety: Clear dishes and glasses, maintaining designated areas; uphold health and safety standards by keeping the environment hazard-free. Support Teamwork: Assist colleagues to enhance guest experiences; collaborate across departments when needed. POS Management: Process orders using the EMMA POS system and maintain accurate records. Operational Duties: Perform opening/closing procedures and manage room service tasks, including VIP setups. Sales Focus: Actively seek opportunities to up-sell food and beverages. Meetings and Compliance: Attend mandatory meetings and adhere to all laws regarding alcohol service. Qualifications Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Team player with a positive attitude Basic knowledge on food and wine Additional Information This is a temporary role which is initially offered for 6 months, with the possibility of extension based on business needs.
