JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Food & Beverage Manager to direct the operations of our restaurant and bar in a busy Golf Club. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and leadership, with a passion for culinary excellence. This role requires a hands-on approach to Managing staff and ensuring exceptional service standards are met.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in a management/supervisory role within the restaurant or hospitality industry is essential.
  • Management experience of Weddings and large events is preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage.
  • Excellent organisational and IT skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with staff and guests

Responsibilities
  • Manage daily operations of the food and beverage department, ensuring high-quality service and adherence to health and safety regulations.
  • Manage a team of waiting and bar staff in a busy Golf Club
  • Manage current & future bookings
  • Ensure a seamless guest experience for our Members & Guests.
  • Manage inventory levels of food and beverage supplies, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock while minimising waste.
  • Train new employees on service standards, food safety practices & allergies, and operational procedures to ensure a knowledgeable team.
  • Monitor customer feedback, implement improvements, enhance service.
  • Work with other departments to coordinate events and special functions
  • You will be Line Manager to all F & B staff, reporting directly to the General Manager.
