About the Role:

As a F&B Procurement Manager Germany, you will manage strategic contracts for goods and services for Hilton properties. Your responsibilities include

  • To contribute and support meeting the organization business goals in Supply Management and would be required to support the Senior Procurement Manager of Supply Management in achieving overall strategic objectives.
  • To contribute towards increasing Hilton’s profitability and upgrading quality by giving effective assistance, suggestions and recommendations.
  • To ensure that the established level of quality products and services are purchased at the lowest total cost while adhering to Hilton Standards and operating procedures, operational need / specifications and purchasing best practice.
  • To prepare and run local and national tenders, analyse data and negotiate with potential suppliers to maximise profitability of accounts.
  • To execute negotiated contracts and ensure compliance with Hilton nominated/mandatory suppliers.
  • To utilise knowledge of the procurement process and hospitality to identify avenues that will enhance profitability.
  • To provide effective HR management to direct reports. Lead and motivate to high level performance.
  • To maintain good working relationship with local, national and international nominated/mandatory suppliers in order to obtain preferential service and conditions and to ensure that the Hilton Supply Management program is delivered to a high level to all customers maintaining integrity and transparency of offering.
  • To maintain good working relationships with the GM’s and Department Heads in the Hotels.
  • To ensure good working flow of information between the responsible person in the Hotels and NPM.
  • To assist and ensure excellent support of existing and new managed/leased and franchised Hotels as well as the third parties and helping to drive additional scale and revenue to the Hilton enterprise.
  • To maintain the e-procurement system Birch Street, including training activities, supplier setup, price regulation and support for all properties.
  • To maintain data in all procurement tools including but not limited in Coupa / Smart Spend, CDAT, Salesforce, Birch Street, Tableau) (Contracting, Sourcing and Savings-tracker system).
  • To ensure the implementation of national, pan-European and global agreements.
  • To ensure that the quality of products and services is in compliance with the Brand standards.
  • The goals and activities are applicable to managed/leased/owned and franchisees hotels of the Hilton company as well as the third parties the Department has contractual obligations with.

To break this down, you’ll roughly spend 20% of your time with Business & Organisational activities, 40% on actual Procurement & Analyses, 20% on Business / Administrative / Support & Organisational activities and the final 20% on Data Management.
