POSITION SUMMARY

The Food & Beverage Supervisor is responsible to provide a level of service which is gracious, kind, and warm that provides an exciting environment and World Class Service by delivering Old-World Hospitality and Charm with our guests. The employee is responsible for prompt, friendly greetings, and proper seating of all guests of the restaurant. The employee will have extensive menu knowledge, be responsible for restaurant ambiance, anticipate guests needs, seat them and respond to guests needs as they arise. Focus on departmental goals of - Consistency, Quality and Sense of Urgency.

GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Ensures the smooth operation of the front of the restaurant
• Maintains seating log and directs the flow of work for service staff
• Promotes positive public and employee relations
• Responsible punctual to pre-shift meeting with a positive attitude and openly participate
• Consistently provide excitement and deliver world class service, as well as live the company core values
• Safeguard company assets and adheres to all policies and procedures
• Create teamwork by helping co-workers with essential function
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures to include strict adherence to attendance and appearance guidelines as well as confidentially regarding guest information
• Clean as you go, clean spills immediately
• Use chemicals as prescribed and responsibly
• Ensure all chemicals are in properly labeled containers
• Responsible for accepting and confirming reservations
• Conduct him/her in a gracious, kind, and warm manner that creates a sense of fondness, as well as professional, courteous, and responsive manner, which reflects positively on the company and its core values
• Proficiency in outlook email service
• Pre-service inspection of front of the house including table settings, lighting, music, display and decorative tables, restrooms, Terrace, and PDR areas
• Develop rapport with all guests and to generate repeat business through friendly approach and communication
• Manages phone messages, emails, and takes ownership of all reservations and details, call backs, and confirmations
• Opentable experience is preferred as the Restaurant Coordinator will update promotions, offers, and specials
• Communicate to management all guest concerns
• Respond to online guest reviews within 72 hours of receiving them via Opentable and Outlook
• Build floor charts for nightly service, large parties, and special events
• Responsible for verifying closing duties are completed by servers and bartenders at conclusion of service
• Other duties as assigned

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or GED. Cashiering experience preferred. Must have a friendly demeanor and be able to communicate well with the public. Must be able to work in an intense and fast paced environment where a high degree of concentration is necessary to perform required job duties. Must demonstrate positive/enthusiastic approach to all assignments. Attendance and punctuality are an essential function of the position. Must be clean, well-groomed, and have a professional appearance. Must have an optimistic outlook, proven track record of leading, inspiring, and proven track record of success in service excellence. Attention to quality details, great communication skills and know how to deliver excitement.

In addition to the other duties described herein, every Team Member has the following responsibilities related to compliance with laws and regulations:

• Attend required training sessions offered by the casino
• Obtain required license(s)
• Perform the duties described in compliance with local laws and regulations
• Take the necessary steps to ensure minors are not allowed to gamble or loiter in gambling areas, drink alcoholic beverages, or purchase tobacco
• Knowledge of the ordinances, regulations, laws, policies, and procedures relating to the Team Member’s department
• Knowledge of the property’s programs to address problem gambling
• Consult with the appropriate individuals and maintain an effective system of written policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with gaming regulations and Internal Controls
• Responsible for taking the appropriate steps to investigate exceptions, fraud, and potential violations and report such instances to the appropriate levels of management
• Report any acts of wrongdoing on behalf of any Team Member that they have knowledge of
