Role Description

The Food and Beverage Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai. This position is responsible for overseeing daily food and beverage operations, ensuring service standards are consistently met across restaurants, bars, and banquet areas. The supervisor coordinates staff schedules, assigns duties, and provides guidance and coaching to team members to maintain efficient and professional service. Key tasks include monitoring food quality and presentation, managing guest inquiries and feedback, and supporting inventory control and cost management. The role also involves working closely with the kitchen and other departments to ensure seamless service, implementing health and safety standards, and assisting with training, briefings, and special event setups.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Supervisory Skills, including team leadership, staff coordination, and performance monitoring.
• Candidates should possess solid Service Standards and Food Service skills, with practical experience in restaurant or hotel food and beverage operations.
• Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service and Communication skills to handle guest interactions, resolve issues, and coordinate with internal teams.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of basic food safety, hygiene regulations, and best practices in hospitality operations.
• Relevant experience in hotel food and beverage supervision, preferably in a 4- or 5-star environment in the GCC or similar markets.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, and thrive in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.
• Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred; additional F&B or leadership certifications are an advantage.
• Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is beneficial.
