JOB PURPOSE As a Waiter, you will provide warm welcome for Guests to contribute to an overall exceptional experience. WHAT YOU WILL DO Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following: To be present on duty in immaculate uniform. To be smart, friendly and firm. Ensures guest is greeted with a warm & friendly welcome Assist the guest upon arrival at the table, and adjust table seating where appropriate Present appropriate menu for appropriate meal times Suggest daily specials and guide or make recommendations to the guest, where applicable Take Food & Beverage order, and repeat the order to the guest for clarification Record orders accurately in the restaurant Micros system, recording all appropriate instructions for the Kitchen and Bar Observe guest to respond to any additional needs, and keep guests informed at all times Deliver Food and Beverage service in a timely manner Do a final check on the quality of food and beverage items before they are served Check back after delivery of food to ensure guest satisfaction Maintains table appearance by pre-bussing, check drinks levels and clear table appropriately Presents check for payment. Receive and process payment accordingly i.e. cash/credit card. Thank the quest accordingly and invite them back. Keep immediate Supervisor/Manager promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance and takes prompt corrective action where necessary or suggests alternative courses of action that may be taken. YOU SHOULD HAVE Must have at least 2 years of experience as a F & B Waiter in a 5 star hotel Ability to speak, read, write advanced level of English Thorough knowledge in Micros System Effective communication skills and pleasant personality are a must. Very energetic, flexible and can handle pressure Be fully conversant with health and safety procedures and emergency procedures

Responsibilities

Provide a warm welcome to guests and manage the full dining experience from seating and order taking to payment processing. Ensure high-quality food and beverage delivery while maintaining table appearance and guest satisfaction.
