On behalf of our client, we are seeking to recruit a F & DT Engineer on a contract till the end of the year
Role: F & DT Engineer
Pay: Up to £52 per hour Via Umbrella
Location: Filton
Contract: Monday - Friday, 35 Hours per week, till end of 2025
IR35 Status: Inside
Security Clearance: BPSS

ESSENTIAL & DESIRABLE SKILLS:

• Experience and know-how of structures engineering and analytical techniques
• Good knowledge of overall aircraft structural design principles and techniques
• Hold or be close to holding approval signatory in F&DT analysis
• Ability to step back and propose new ideas
• Studied engineering and have a structural analysis background, particularly fatigue and damage tolerance

• Approve F&DT deliverables and lead the resolution of F&DT problems through the use of appropriate methods
• Responsible for the technical scope of assigned projects and tasks
• Contribute to engineering solutions and ways of working borne from experience in aerospace, other industries or research environmentsSupport the development of less experienced team members on both technical and behavioural aspects
