Job Scope The SET BU Manager position will lead the SET sales and technical teams in the Chinese market for sales and promotion activities. The role is to strengthen our product presence in China and actively promote integration between headquarters and the Chinese market, establishing a future-oriented framework. Responsibilities External Sales Responsible for the sales of HSS, DEC, and membrane products in the Chinese market Achieve annual sales targets and other financial indicators Develop and implement strategies for the department’s growth in China Lead the team to enhance market coverage and get closer to customers in China Guide the team to explore as many sales opportunities as possible and improve hit rates Take the lead in tracking and understanding major competing brands’ market activities, pricing strategies, and product development trends in China Organize and lead promotional activities in China, such as exhibitions and customer seminars, in cooperation with the marketing department Actively promote the expansion into new applications and fields in China, accumulate experience, and develop new business growth points Lead the technical team to actively develop and utilize local laboratories and equipment in China as important means for market expansion and to accumulate relevant experience Maintain relationships and framework agreements with key domestic customers Actively expand cooperation with key engineering companies in related industries in China Manage and orderly develop domestic distributors in related industries as a beneficial supplement to business development Organize and coordinate within the team to resolve customer claims and ensure a good customer experience Internal Coordination Plan and utilize current resources in China (including sales, P&A, service, etc.), and allocate resources reasonably to balance efficiency and market coverage Manage the daily operations of the team Integrate marketing resources and coordinate with the marketing department, actively leading and organizing market and product promotion activities Make full use of the distributor network to organize and coordinate promotional work in specific regions and industries Collaborate with industry managers to plan and expand overall development in specific industries Achieve synergy with other product departments in the same industry or project Actively coordinate and fully utilize the resources of the service department to provide good customer service and ensure customer experience Lead and promote the overall capability improvement of the team, systematically enhancing the team’s technical and business abilities Ensure the team complies with company compliance management and that no violations occur Ensure the team operates in accordance with relevant company management and business regulations As the team leader, participate in daily communication and coordination with finance, HR, and other departments Be responsible for the team’s internal financial indicators (such as salaries, reimbursements, etc.) Establish a transparent, equal, positive, and diverse team culture Headquarters As the primary responsible person, ensure smooth communication and exchange between the corresponding headquarters departments and China Coordinate and mobilize relevant headquarters resources at the appropriate level to support business development in China Actively promote internal exchanges between headquarters and China, facilitating development and discussions at all levels (products, market, customers, etc.) to stay on the same page Establish deep and sufficient communication channels with headquarters to ensure support from headquarters on an open and transparent basis Qualifications & Experience Professional industrial equipment sales skills, including large project sales skills Ability to manage diverse teams Over 10 years of industrial product sales experience Independently completed project sales (>5 million RMB) Proficient English skills Excellent communication skills Overseas work and study experience in Europe or the US (nice to have) Mid-level or above management experience in large multinational companies (over 5 years) Science or engineering background (food or pharmaceutical industry preferred) Bachelor’s degree or above Every day, we get opportunities to make a positive impact – on our colleagues, partners, customers and society.
