FY3 (ST1 Equivalent) Locally Employed Doctor Programme
Are you looking to develop your medical career at a leading London teaching hospital? Join Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust as a trust grade doctor on our F3 Programme for Locally Employed Doctors (LEDs).
We are recruiting for F3-level roles across a range of specialties, starting Wednesday 6 th August 2025. Applicants must have completed Foundation Training or equivalent. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in a world-class teaching environment with access to excellent training facilities.
Posts are offered for 12 months, with an initial placement in one specialty. There may be an opportunity to rotate after six months, subject to post availability.

Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust offers a programme of F3 posts across a range of specialties. These posts are suitable for doctors who have completed Foundation Training or an equivalent programme. They provide excellent opportunities for clinical experience and professional development.
Postholders will be encouraged to attend departmental teaching sessions and will have access to study leave, including £400 in funding and 10 days per annum. They will also be supported to undertake small projects and present at conferences where appropriate.
While individual posts will vary, typical duties include ward work, participation in ward rounds and multidisciplinary meetings, as well as time in theatre (where relevant) and outpatient clinics. Most posts include out-of-hours commitments and operate on full shift rotas, with senior medical supervision available at all times. Appointments are for 12 months.
