Description
The FAB Machine Operator will perform technical fabrication operations on raw materials throughout the Fabrication Department using metal processing machinery. In this function you will: A. Observe all safety rules and hygiene regulations B. Receive work assignments, oral or written instructions from Supervisor C. Perform initial set-up for operation on PLC, Analog, or Manual controlled machines D. Operate equipment/machinery to produce parts E. Interpret work orders including written, Kanban cards, and drawings F. Complete necessary paperwork and system transactions G. Maintain tools, equipment, and materials for continuous operation H. Inspect final component against work specifications I. Perform necessary operator maintenance on machining and fabrication equipment J. Report abnormal situations and submit maintenance work orders to maintain equipment M. Complete any other assigned tasks from management High School Diploma or GED (General Education Degree) from an accredited institution No relocation is being offered for this role. All candidates considered must live within 50 miles of the Arden, NC facility. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
