Job Summary Micron is seeking motivated Process Technicians to support wafer manufacturing by monitoring operations, reviewing data, and working closely with engineering and production teams to improve yield, quality, and efficiency. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, the ability to troubleshoot issues in a dynamic environment, and adherence to established procedures. We are looking for someone proficient in Microsoft Office, at extracting and analyzing data, and clearly presenting data insights. Success depends on effective communication, strong organization and time-management skills, the ability to work independently, and flexibility with responsibilities and shift schedules. Responsibilities: Handle semiconductor tools, perform technical evaluations, and partner with cross functional teams to optimize wafer fabrication processes. Work with engineering teams to improve workstations and troubleshoot sophisticated issues. Set up and run processing tools in an office and/or cleanroom environments to support production and engineering needs. Communicate clearly, handles time efficiently, and follow procedures with minimal direction. Use Microsoft Office and manufacturing software to complete tasks and analyze data. Conduct technical experiments, run process tests, and prepare data visualizations to identify yield and process trends. Complete required safety training, work safely in varied environments (including uneven terrain and confined spaces), and respond appropriately to potential hazards. Minimum Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent experience or equivalent. Availability for 12hour shifts (3 days on/4 days off and 4 days on/3 days off), with flexibility to move between shifts or work overtime as needed. Ability to wear cleanroom garments (approximately 20%, depending on department) and occasional PPE such as chemical aprons and face shields (~1% of the time). Preferred Requirements: AAS or AS degree in Mechatronics, Science, Physics, Mathematics, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent experience through trade school or military training. 2+ years of experience in industry, manufacturing, lab, or cleanroom environments, or equivalent military experience. 2+ years of experience analyzing data using statistical and structured problem solving methods (e.g., Statistical Process Control).
