Job Description
This position is part of our Maintenance Team.

Daily Tasks include:

• Bend and shear parts accordance to blueprints or instruction
• Run laser programs as instructed
• Ability to set up and make adjustments on CNC laser and brake press Monitor machines to assure they are functioning in a safe and efficient manner
• Inspect manufactured parts to ensure they meet specifications

Job Requirements

• Responsible for various types of weld preparation, welding and weld finishing operations to manufacture Kimball product to drawings, specifications, or other forms of instruction.
• Proficient in assigned welding techniques
• Interpretation of mechanical drawings, including weld requirement symbology
• Knowledge of wire, filler and brazing materials applications for various steel alloys, aluminum materials
• Working knowledge of fixturing and weld set up parameters (amps, volts, etc.)
• Conventional and precision measuring instruments
• Must be experienced and proficient in operating and set up for CNC Laser, CNC Shear, and CNC Press Brake, as well as an understanding in CAD/CAM and use of blueprints
• Use fabrication tools such as grinder, bandsaw, punch, and shear Accurately read a tape measure, gauges, caliper, micrometer, angle finder
• Must be able to communicate/read English language
