Description
Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical challenges in inoperative electro-mechanical machinery employed in the manufacturing process Dismantle, adjust, repair, and assemble equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches, or drawings Use test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts Carry out diagnostic procedures on electrical or mechanical components to pinpoint faults in inoperative electro-mechanical machinery employed in the manufacturing process Rebuild manufacturing equipment as needed May perform equipment modifications as advised by engineers Fundamental to intermediate understanding of AC/DC circuits, encompassing electricity basics, as well as fundamental electronic components and circuits. Applied knowledge of mathematical concepts and problem-solving at least into an algebraic level Basic PC skills including MS Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; Basic understanding of SPC principles and accurate application Flexible with job responsibilities and shift assignments including night shift; Ability to work 12-hour shifts (3 on/4 off and 4 on/3 off) with the need to stand the entire shift and lift equipment Education in industry-related associate degree; working towards a STEM-related degree; equivalent military training and experience; equivalent work experience Demonstrated expertise in mechatronics, robotics, foundational electrical concepts, technical writing, electrical power systems, and statics Prior semiconductor experience
