This individual will be responsible for the end-to-end execution of the global fabric development pipeline - from ideation and R&D to sourcing and production - ensuring alignment with brand strategy, cost targets, and sustainability goals.
This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with deep expertise in fabric R&D and product development, who thrives in a collaborative and fast-paced global environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and coordinate all phases of global fabric research, development, and seasonal research, ensuring forward-thinking and strategic alignment for future seasons.
  • Drive newness by sourcing seasonal fabric requests and proposing creative alternatives when needed to meet cost or sourcing strategies.
  • Manage the development of fabrics that meet the aesthetic and financial goals of the brand, integrating sustainability initiatives and PVH PLM systems.
  • Collaborate closely with Design to translate aesthetic direction into clear, actionable development strategies for vendors and mills.
  • Maintain strong partnerships with key global fabric suppliers to stay ahead of innovation, trends, and competitive sourcing opportunities.
  • Monitor and manage the seasonal development calendar to ensure key deadlines are met and development timelines are maintained.
  • Ensure all developed fabrics meet Quality Control (QC) standards and are approved within appropriate lead times for timely booking and production.
  • Perform seasonal analytics, including fabric development metrics and mill performance assessments, to inform future strategies and mill selection.
  • Identify and recommend fabric consolidation opportunities and reduce duplications to enhance efficiency.
  • Keep the fabric resource library organized and current, supporting seasonal inspiration and archiving brand developments.
