MANDATORY SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Mechanical Engineering degree or diploma .
• Minimum 5 years of experience in steel fabrication supervision.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD for reading and interpreting fabrication drawings.
• Strong skills in job planning, job allocation, and project scheduling.
• Knowledge of welding techniques, cutting processes, and fabrication methods.
• Ability to manage workshop teams and coordinate multiple projects.
• Familiarity with health, safety, and quality standards in fabrication.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are hiring an experienced Engineer / Supervisor to manage steel fabrication projects from start to finish. The role involves workshop supervision, job planning, resource allocation, and ensuring all fabrication work is completed on time and to quality standards. The ideal candidate has mechanical engineering knowledge, strong AutoCAD skills, and a proven track record in metal fabrication supervision.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan, organize, and manage steel fabrication projects in the workshop.
• Allocate daily tasks to fabricators, welders, and technicians.
• Review, interpret, and verify fabrication drawings in AutoCAD.
• Monitor production schedules and ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain quality control and ensure compliance with company standards.
• Coordinate with design, procurement, and production teams.
• Implement safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide on-the-job guidance.
• Prepare progress reports for management.
