QUALIFICATIONS

  • You have advanced leadership skills (5 years experience in a related supervisory/management role required).
  • You have an in depth knowledge developing and working with welding procedures
  • You have experience and knowledge with CWB standards
  • You have experience with fixturing and precision fabrication.
  • You have rigorous time management skills.
  • You work well within a team, and can effectively lead a team.
  • You have strong problem solving skills and ability to collaborate with Production, Design, and Project Management teams across the plant.

    Pay: $90,000.00-$100,000.00 per year

Responsibilities
  • Oversee fabrication processes and supervise employees specifically in our manual welding cells.
  • Ensure that our procedures and products are fabricated in conformance with all company requirements and project requirements.
  • Collaborate with Estimating, Design & Engineering departments on estimating & constructability topics and other prefabrication opportunities
  • Take a leadership role in regards to QA/QC for the work they oversee (and work directly with our QA/QC Manager to ensure all work is fabricated to our standards).
  • Take a leadership role in regards to enforcement of Health and Safety protocols for the work you oversee in the Welding department.
  • Suggest and implement process improvements, and drive to increase efficiency of our welding operations.
  • Be involved in resource planning and assign duties as required.
  • Determine output levels, monitor processes and report results.
  • Schedules and reports on production.
