As our business grows, we are seeking Fabrication Operators to join our Manufacturing Operations in Port Melbourne on day, afternoon and night shifts on a full-time permanent basis. No previous experience is required, just a willingness to develop that will see you learn advanced manufacturing techniques in our world class facilities.
The components you will fabricate will be assembled to form part of the iconic Boeing aircrafts including the 737, 777 and 787 Dreamliner.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE):

  • Reliable and willingness to undertake shift work is essential
  • Any previous experience using automated machinery is desirable
  • Any previous experience in a quality control environment preferred
  • A willingness to learn and develop your skills
  • Literacy and numeracy skills to enable you to follow and interpret work instructions
  • Capable of hand forming carbon fibre fabric into aircraft structural parts
  • Ability to work independently or part of a diverse team towards a common goal and to agreed deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Assertive, self-motivated and capable of working with initiative
  • Comfortable working with your hands and standing for long periods of time
  • Willing to complete hands on, physical and repetitive work
  • Commitment to OHS procedures
  • Basic computer skills
