Ferguson is currently seeking an individual to fill an immediate need for a Fabrication Supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years of direct supervisory/management experience as a job site foreman, fab shop supervisor, or project manager
  • 5 years minimum experience in the mechanical contracting or process piping industry
  • Ability to read prints and illustrate detailed knowledge of pipe fitting procedures and skills
  • Previous experience in the mechanical contracting or process piping industry with pipe fitting processes preferred
  • Welding experience is a plus but not required
  • Must have good problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with individual contributors, teams, peers, and leadership

Responsibilities
  • Read blueprints and specification to determine the scope of work: locations, quantities, and sizes of materials required
  • Prioritize workflow through the shop and use all resources to implement tasks efficiently and effectively to meet delivery deadlines
  • Identify all tools required for tasks
  • Identify safety risks and the precautions required to eliminate those risks
  • Responsible for performance metrics, process improvement, and lean thinking
  • Prepare, fabricate, install, and fit pipe to specifications
