Description
Perform mechanical soldering on tiny/delicate assemblies Experience with high pressure equipment and knowledge/understanding of safety regarding it Perform manufacturing processes on complex assemblies following written instructions Thorough Understanding of mechanical drawings relating to sub assemblies, tooling, and top level parts. Experience and comfort soldering under a microscope for hours at a time. Skilled at diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical assemblies issues. Ability to work on complex projects and/or products with minimal direction and knowledge to involve required support from Engineering or Supervision. Verify calibrated equipment, material with expiration dates and written instructions are up to date and accurate prior to use in production. Properly manage the traceability of numerous components to ensure assembly accuracy. Work in partnership with Engineering to Identify improvement opportunities, resulting in a decrease of lead time, cost savings, elimination of waste, or safety improvement Obtain and maintain Certified Operator Status following site guidelines. Responsible for ensuring that compliance with Environmental, Health, and Safety standards are met.. Attention to detail in regards to measuring and testing parts Adherence to safety standards and requirements for chemical processing of parts High School Diploma or Equivalency. Minimum 2 years in Aerospace manufacturing OR Minimum 4 years of Military experience OR Minimum 6 years of relevant manufacturing experience. Minimum 1 year of precision measurement tool experience. Ability to communicate problems in product or quality in to supervisor or manager clearly and concisely. Associantes Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Technology Minimum 1 year solder, assembly, and testing of small components experience.
