SUMMARY

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Fabrication Technician to assemble custom systems made up of lights, actuators, wiring, and related components. This hands-on role involves working with both electrical and mechanical elements to fabricate high-quality signs used in various applications. The ideal candidate has experience with low-voltage systems, electronics, and mechanical assembly, and takes pride in producing clean, reliable, and functional systems.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of relevant hands-on experience in fabrication or assembly
• Working knowledge of low-voltage electrical systems and components
• Skilled in using hand tools, crimpers, wire strippers, and multimeters
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality craftsmanship
• Capable of diagnosing issues, replacing components, and performing basic repairs
• Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and drawings
• Strong communication skills; able to clearly document and share information
• Self-motivated, dependable, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team
• Ideally have your own basic toolset
• Transportation required – reliable commute or willingness to relocate is essential (free on-site parking available)

• Assemble light boards and control systems using components such as lights, actuators, wires, switches, and connectors
• Interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and assembly instructions
• Install, route, and secure wiring and components following quality and safety standards
• Test and troubleshoot completed systems to ensure functionality and reliability
• Maintain an organized and clean work area and manage inventory of components
• Collaborate with engineers and designers to improve fabrication techniques
• Document fabrication steps and contribute feedback for ongoing product improvements
• Follow workplace safety practices and all company policies
• Complete all final inspections and verifications per work instructions
• Operate and maintain tools and equipment in accordance with company procedures
