Job type: Contractual/Temp role
Location: Bankstown, NSW
Salary: $50 – $60per hour

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

We are looking for a Trainer and Assessor for Fabrication Trade Engineer. To be a successful trainer, you will need to have an in-depth knowledge of Fabrication Trade Engineer and a passion for mentioning and passing on your knowledge to the next generations. The skills associated with this qualification are intended to apply to a wide range of fabrication work, including undertaking metal fabrication, structural steel erection, sheetmetal work, welding, blacksmithing and surface finishing.
As a Trainer and Assessor, you will be responsible for the delivery of Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication.

QUALIFICATIONS AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • Certificate III trade qualification in, " Engineering – Fabrication "
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or its equivalent - OR willingness willing to obtain if you do not have previous teaching background.
  • Must be able to demonstrate vocational competence in their proposed training and assessing area.
  • You should possess in-depth knowledge and understanding required of an Engineering Tradesperson - Fabrication within metal, engineering, manufacturing and associated industries.
  • Relevant/Current Industry work experience post qualifications.
  • Be able to demonstrate trainer matrix relevant to the course
  • Strong presentation, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong time-management and organisational skills
  • Knowledge of current industry standards and practices
Responsibilities

· Lead Fabrication training sessions, sharing your practical knowledge and hands-on experience.
· Deliver both theory and practical workshop training
· Conduct relevant tutorial classes, exams and assessments
· Supervise students and provide support as required
· Identify training needs and develop training programs as required
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $50.00 – $60.00 per hour

Licence/Certification:
