Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Manufacturing Associate to join our fabrication team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating various machinery, including the Marvel Saw, Punch Press, Hydraulic Press, and Ellis Saw. Your attention to detail, technical expertise, and commitment to safety will contribute to the production of superior metal components.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be able to read / interpret blueprints
  • Familiar with measuring tools using fractions and decimals
  • Be detail oriented
  • Be able to identify different types of materials
  • Basic knowledge of Marvel automatic saws
  • Must have basic knowledge of Unipunch System
  • General knowledge of break press operation
  • General knowledge of iron-worker type equipment
  • The above skills are not all required. Graber Mfg. is willing to train to suit our needs

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • The ability to move freely with sufficient reflexes to use hands and power tools to complete the tasks efficiently.
  • Ability to perform the same task repeatedly.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain the Marvel Saw, Punch Press, Hydraulic Press, and Ellis Saw according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders to ensure accurate fabrication of metal parts.
  • Set up machinery, select appropriate tooling, and make necessary adjustments to achieve precise cuts, punches, and bends.
  • Monitor the fabrication process to identify any issues or defects, and make adjustments as needed to maintain product quality.
  • Collaborate with team members, including welders, assemblers, and supervisors, to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of projects.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote a safe and productive environment.
