Perform duties in the fabrication plant related to all elements of cold form steel panel fabrication and welding. Duties primarily involve welding processes but also include operating basic hand tools, component assembly, operating metal fabrication equipment including saws, drills, grinders that are associated with structural steel fabrication.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Steel Toed Boots
• Welding equipment
• Suitable attire for a shop environment.
• Availability to work shift work and/or overtime
• Must be punctual and possess a strong work ethic

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

• Technical Training in the Welding Trade
• Ability to interpret shop drawings
• Basic knowledge of structural steel shapes, sizes, and grades
• Basic reading and writing skills
• Knowledge and respect of shop safety
• Ability to communicate orally.

• Perform welding operations using GMAW/MIG welding process
• Operate Basic Hand Tools and Powered Hand Tools. ie Drills, Disc Grinders etc
• Perform work safely and follow established work procedures
• Perform Housekeeping Duties
• Perform General Tasks as assigned by Supervisor
• Accurately complete production and timesheets
• Supports the Quality and Safety Programs
