About the Role: The Fabricator/MIG Flux Core Welder II is a full-time position working in our manufacturing plant in Lincolnton, NC. This position is responsible for fabricating and welding frames, subassemblies or parts for one of the following machines, asphalt pavers, brooms, graders, loaders, road wideners, tack tanks, or distributor trucks. In this Role, You Will: Need a minimum of 5 years on-the-job fabricating/welding experience. Five (5) plus years of experience using Flux Core. Positions parts in jigs, fixtures on a bench/floor, or clamps parts together along layout marks. Scarfs or grooves weld prior to applying filler metal. Applies flux to workpiece instead of filler rod. Lays out, positions, and tack welds workpiece. Weld along vertical, horizontal or overhead weld lines. Examine weld for bead size and other specifications. Chips or grinds off excess weld, slag, or spatter. Cleans or degreases parts. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Requirements Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you will need the following: High School diploma, or GED (General Education Degree) Minimum of 5 years on-the-job welding experience Five (5) years of fabrication experience Must be able to weld using Flux Core Read/Interpret blueprints Read a tape measure Use a square In addition to compensation, you will be eligible for: 401K with company match Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance Disability PTO Life and AD&D Insurance Development and Career Growth Opportunities
