REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience as a fabricator welder and/or plater in a workshop or site environment
  • Ability to read and interpret technical engineering drawings
  • Strong skills in MIG welding (TIG and Stick welding advantageous)
  • Experience working with mild steel, stainless steel, and/or aluminium
  • Competence in using fabrication machinery (e.g., press brake, guillotine, rollers)
  • Good attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
  • Forklift experience is desirable but not essential
  • CSCS or equivalent site certification is a plus
    Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Fabricator Welder Plater to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for reading engineering drawings, fabricating components, and welding to high standards, ensuring accuracy and quality throughout the process.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Interpret and work from engineering drawings and specifications
  • Fabricate and assemble steel components and structures
  • Carry out MIG and/or TIG welding to a high standard
  • Use cutting, burning, grinding, and forming tools as required
  • Plate work including marking out, rolling, bending, and fitting
  • Conduct dimensional checks to ensure accuracy
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment
  • Adhere to health and safety procedures and company policies
