With more than 40 employees. and projects ranging from single sign installations to hundreds of signs at a single location, we design, manufacture, and install custom signage for our clients throughout Colorado. Position Summary: We are actively looking for fabricators to add to our growing production team. Ideal candidates are eager to learn, grow and craft beautiful signs for our customers. Our fabricators are skilled in and able to perform a variety of fabrication techniques with varying materials to manufacture custom designed signs. This role also involves applying general technical skills to day-to-day projects and reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics to complete projects according to their design plan. Compensation and Benefits: Pay Range: $23-$30 per hour depending on experience Benefits Include: · Health, Dental and Vision · Company Paid Life Insurance · PTO and Paid Holidays · 401K Requirements Essential Duties and Responsibilities: · Weld and fabricate components to the highest standard in accordance with best practices · Read/Understand schematics and blueprints for projects · Work with the fabrication and design team as needed to help determine the best practice and/or method to fabricate specific parts · Operate production machinery · Cut, fit, weld and assemble fabricated products, including low voltage wiring and other · Load/unload materials and signs. · Maintain work area for efficiency, cleanliness and to meet Company safety standards · Report material usage and production time for each project daily · Follow all company safety standards including proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) · Perform additional responsibilities as requested Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: · Solid organizational skills; able to multi-task and complete requests in a timely and professional manner. · Resourceful; can devise creative solutions to problems. · Recent welding/metal fabrication experience is essential · Prior welding certifications are preferred but not mandatory · Ability to pass a welding certification exam within 30 days of hire · Proficient in operating various power tools and equipment for metalworking · Excellent attention to detail and precision in metal fabrication processes · Strong Knowledge of construction techniques and processes · Read and write English · Attend monthly safety training meetings · Obtain and maintain forklift certification through our on-the-job training program Physical Requirements: · Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and move about the shop. · Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 80 pounds · Must be able to safely use a ladder What we are looking for: • Someone who marks their work with excellence • Someone who loves to create amazing things and who loves driving towards perfection • A person who appreciates new challenges and wants to learn how to do new things • Someone who can celebrate their successes as well as those of their team members • An individual that can reflect and learn when things don’t turn out the way they expected What we are not looking for: · Someone who does not want to expand their knowledge and learn new things · Someone who is ok working within the status-quo · Someone who thinks “impossible” is a limitation rather than a challenge If you have a passion for excellence and a need to thrive and grow in a challenging but rewarding environment, you are probably the kind of person we are looking for!
