Description Fabricator Wardcraft | Jackson, MI | Full-time Wardcraft is looking for a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our growing team. If you take pride in clean welds, precise fabrication, and being part of a hands-on manufacturing crew, we want to hear from you! Requirements What You'll Do Perform MIG and TIG welding on components per engineering drawings, layouts, work orders, or verbal instruction Set up and lay out work using jigs, fixtures, or hand layouts to fabricate parts and rework finished products Collaborate with team members to fabricate and weld multi-component parts Operate forklifts, hoists, hand power tools, slings, grinders, and cutting torches Inspect and correct welds to meet product specifications Handle and cut materials to job order specifications What We're Looking For 2–4 years of welding/fabrication experience High school diploma or GED required Strong tape measure and blueprint reading skills Aluminum welding and heavy equipment manufacturing experience a plus Ability to work in a fast-paced shop environment with exposure to fumes, noise, and temperature extremes Ability to occasionally lift up to 75 lbs Schedule Choose from: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM, or Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM Regular overtime and occasional weekend work required. Travel is primarily local, with occasional out-of-area or overnight trips.
