Eclipse Magnetics, part of the Spear & Jackson Group, is looking for a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our operations team at the Atlas site in Sheffield. If TIG welding is your thing—and you’re not a stranger to stainless steel—then this might just be the role you’ve been looking for.
This isn’t a production line gig. You’ll be working from detailed technical drawings, fabricating everything from simple brackets to more complex assemblies. You’ll need to know your way around TIG welding (with a bit of MIG being useful too) and be comfortable working to food-grade standards. If you’ve welded filters or vessels before, we’d love to hear about it.
The environment is fast paced, so you’ll need to be self-motivated and able to hit deadlines without someone standing over your shoulder. You’ll be expected to inspect your own work, keep your area tidy, and take care of your tools. It’s about taking pride in what you do. You’ll also pitch in during busy periods and holiday cover—because that’s what teams do.
This is a hands-on role, working in a business that values people who can think, plan, and execute with precision. You’ll be surrounded by others who know their trade, and who aren’t interested in cutting corners. If you’ve got a good head for drawings, know your way around buffing and polishing machines, and understand how to keep a safe and efficient workspace, we’d like to speak with you.
This is a site-based role, no remote work, no hybrid option—so you’ll need to be on-site at Atlas in Sheffield.
