OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating and welding metal components according to specifications and blueprints. This role requires a strong attention to detail, the ability to work with various tools and equipment, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in all projects. On the job training to be provided.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years welding experience
  • CWB certification an asset
  • Proficient in basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
  • Experience with welding Steel and Aluminum is essential.
  • Familiarity with blueprint reading and schematic interpretation.
  • Ability to operate hand and power tools
  • Able to operate a metal cutting saw
  • Comfortable using overhead cranes to manipulate work pieces
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
