Description

Doctors Without Borders is looking for a Project Coordinator in Bergen!
Doctors Without Borders saves lives where the needs are greatest. In over 70 countries we provide medical assistance to people affected by conflict, epidemics, disasters, or exclusion from healthcare. Fundraising is an important activity for us, since we do not seek government funding and financial support from private individuals is crucial.
Through our fundraising activities, we aim to meet the Norwegian public face to face, provide them with information on how we operate, and, an opportunity to support the work we do in the field.
We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled coordinator to take responsibility for the face-to-face fundraising activities in Bergen and the surrounding areas. Our goal is to recruit as many new regular donors as possible since funds from private donors ensure our neutrality and independence, enabling us to act swiftly in times of disaster.
This is a 100% permanent position, starting from July 2025.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous/Current experience in fundraising/sales is essential, along with team and project management, including planning, administration, and reporting
  • A relevant higher education background is required, ideally in sales, business administration, management, or HR
  • Previous fundraising experience with Doctors Without Borders, or a similar organization is a strong advantage
