Purpose of the Role BGIS is seeking an experienced Facilities Account Manager to lead a high-profile, multi-faceted facilities and property management contract within one of Victoria’s most dynamic and high-volume wholesale market environments.  Reporting directly to the State Director, you will work collaboratively with both client and BGIS teams to ensure all contract deliverables are achieved, asset performance is maximised, and stakeholder satisfaction remains exceptional. This is a critical and fast-paced role within a busy operational setting, requiring thoughtful leadership, strong commercial insight, and the ability to foster positive, trusted relationships across a small, close-knit team and diverse stakeholder group. The ideal candidate will be collaborative, adaptable, values-driven, and confident in leading through complexity while maintaining a strong focus on safety and compliance. Key Responsibilities * Lead and support a multi-skilled on-site team to achieve all contractual KPIs and Critical Success Factors * Build and maintain trusted relationships with stakeholders, contractors, and suppliers across the precinct * Drive asset performance, occupancy growth, and operational excellence * Ensure full compliance with HSEQ, Quality, OH&S and Environmental Management Systems * Oversee procurement plans, tender processes, and subcontractor performance * Manage financial performance, including revenue, gross margin, EBIT targets, budgeting, variance reporting, and governance requirements * Promote a proactive safety culture, ensuring policies, pre-start checks, and safe access procedures are consistently upheld * Encourage open communication, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team Education, Experience & Skills Essential: * Proven experience leading medium to large facilities or property management contracts in complex environments * Demonstrated success managing multi-functional teams and diverse stakeholder groups * Strong commercial and financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and contract performance management * Experience working within integrated services models (FM, PM, Workplace, Financial Management) * Knowledge of QA, OH&S, and Environmental systems and current legislative requirements * Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across executive and operational levels * High-level decision-making capability and the ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities Desirable: * Technical or Tertiary qualifications in Property, Business, Commerce, MBA or related discipline * Formal training in OH&S, QA and Environmental legislation * Experience within large-scale market, logistics, industrial, or corporate real estate environments Workplace Flexibility This role is fully site-based in Epping, Victoria, supporting a critical and highly active operational environment.
