About You:
VT-ARC is seeking an experienced, detailed oriented, responsible, and driven Facility Administrator to help us manage a collaboration center in Colorado Springs. The right candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit and the capability to multitask. You’ll be part of an enthusiastic and collaborative team of administrators, event coordinators, research analysts, education coordinators and data scientists that support collaborative teams, coordinate event logistics, and support teams striving to make rapid technology advancements to support the US Space Force.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, SKILLS, CAPABILITIES:

  • Dependability, flexibility, and ability to rapidly and effectively respond in a fast-paced environment
  • 3-5 years of administrative experience and/or a degree in a relevant field
  • Experience with maintaining IT systems including laptop computers, monitors and common office software applications
  • Strong interpersonal skills. Strong verbal and written communications skills. Ability to interact and effectively communicate with customer
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work as a team contributor with a mission focus and emphasis on service, integrity, and excellence
  • Ability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds
Responsibilities
  • Positively represent the company to guests by always providing empathetic and friendly customer service
  • Support a rotating schedule among the front office team to man front desks in our Colorado Springs facility. This is a full-time on-site position where you will work with the team to select your shifts (0730-1530 or 0930-1730 shifts available)
  • Manage our event calendar in coordination with managers and event staff
  • Answer incoming customer calls, emails, and messages regarding service questions and general customer concerns
  • Manage available collaborative environment resources, inventory, audio visual systems, IT equipment and provide basic technical support to meetings (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, etc.)
