Leadership & Supervision: Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of maintenance technicians, ensuring high standards of performance. Develop and maintain a positive, efficient work environment by fostering teamwork, discipline, and accountability. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing training and development opportunities for the maintenance team Maintenance Operations: Oversee daily maintenance activities, including scheduled repairs, inspections, and emergency troubleshooting. Ensure timely and efficient completion of all maintenance work orders. Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and maximize equipment lifespan. Ensure compliance with safety protocols, environmental regulations, and company policies. Inventory & Budget Management: Manage the maintenance inventory of tools, equipment, and spare parts to ensure necessary materials are readily available. Develop and manage the annual maintenance budget, including forecasting needs for tools, equipment, and repairs. Monitor expenditures and ensure maintenance costs are controlled within budgeted limits. Equipment & Facility Management: Monitor the performance of key production equipment and infrastructure, identifying and addressing potential issues before they lead to failure. Lead efforts for equipment upgrades, replacements, and repairs. Ensure the maintenance and operation of the facility meets health, safety, and regulatory standards. Troubleshooting & Repair: Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, guiding technicians as necessary. Work closely with other departments to prioritize and schedule repairs and preventive measures. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and repairs conducted. Competency & Skill Requirements Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field (preferred). Proven experience (10+ years) in a maintenance management role, preferably in Spray Drying, Dairy, Pharma, or Food Manufacturing. Experience with CMMS, SAP, and MS Office. Knowledge of the building process and construction principles. Knowledge of relevant regulations and building codes. Good verbal and written communication skills. Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Physical Requirements Must be able to lift 50 lb./25 kg. Must have ability to stand, crouch, climb, and work in confined spaces to perform adjustments to equipment, use ladders, and perform various types of manual labor Ability to wear PPE as necessary Regulatory Requirements Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, follow CGMP's, and work in a manner consistent with all corporate and regulatory, food safety, quality and sanitation requirements Will comply with all applicable federal, state, and local standards for the manufacture of infant formula and other non-infant nutritional foods.
