SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Demonstrated experience in maintenance and facilities management within a complex operational environment
  • Strong understanding of WHS legislation, safety systems, and risk management practices
  • Proven capability in project planning, resource coordination, and prioritisation under pressure
  • Experience managing contractors, budgets, and service level agreements
  • Effective people leadership with a focus on team engagement and capability development
  • Clear, confident communication and strong reporting and stakeholder management skills
  • Familiarity with digital safety systems & site operational safety plans.
Responsibilities

As our DC continues to evolve, we’re looking for a Facilities and Maintenance Manager to join the team! You will lead your team to maintain the safety, compliance and operational efficiency of the DC, overseeing equipment and infrastructure maintenance, while ensuring site-wide safety, compliance, and facilities standards are met.

Key responsibilities in this role:

  • Drive proactive maintenance strategies across site infrastructure, equipment, and utilities, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • Champion safety and compliance, leading programs, audits, training, and incident management to embed a strong safety culture.
  • Manage resources and contractors, including inventory, site upkeep, utilities, and service provider performance.
  • Oversee asset lifecycle management, from documentation and inspections to preventative and reactive maintenance.
  • Build a capable, engaged and high performing team, whilst also being on the tools and hands on with maintenance where required.
  • Report on safety and maintenance performance, delivering insights and trends to stakeholders.
