About you:

  • Ability to carry out basic maintenance tasks/DIY experience
  • Understanding of Health and Safety procedures
  • Previous experience in a facilities or estates role is desirable, but not essential

Responsibilities:

Activate Learning are now recruiting for a Property and Environment Officer to join our team based at our City of Oxford College Campus.
In this role, you will ensure that the College premises and facilities provide a safe, clean and secure environment that supports teaching and learning.
No two days will be the same, from unlocking the site, to conducting office moves, to general maintenance such as repair jobs, or painting and decorating.
Permanent, full-time role, working 37 hours per week with a split shift pattern in place, including mornings and evenings, offering opportunities for overtime work.
There may be a requirement for the successful candidate to be on call every fourth week, which will involve holding the on-duty phone and attending to any out of hours emergencies whilst you are on call, which you will be paid for. Travel between our Oxford campuses may also be required at times.
