Bruce Rock Engineering is looking for an experienced Facilities and Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance team in Forrestfield. In this role, you will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of manufacturing equipment and facility infrastructure.
Your technical expertise and hands-on approach will be essential for troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Additionally, you will play a key role in implementing preventative measures to reduce downtime and enhance overall efficiency. This position is:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS ROLE INCLUDE:
Equipment Maintenance & Repair – Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Perform maintenance on manufacturing equipment tools and machinery.
Facility Maintenance – Maintain building infrastructure, including lighting, plumbing, HVAC, and safety systems. Conduct minor repairs on office spaces, restrooms and common areas.
Preventative Maintenance – Conduct routine inspections and maintenance to prevent equipment failures and extend assetlife. Identify potential equipment failures and take proactive steps to minimize downtime.
Compliance & Safety – Ensure all work is done according to health, safety, and environmentalregulations. Conduct safety checks on fire alarms, emergency exists and ventilation systems.
Emergency Repairs – Respond quickly to urgent maintenance issues that could impact production. Diagnose and resolve unexpected mechanical or electrical failures efficiently.
Inventory & Documentation – Maintain records of repairs, parts inventory, and service schedules. Order necessary parts and equipment for repairs and servicing.
