As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing various facilities related tasks that include but are not limited to repairs requiring carpentry, electrical, and plumbing skills. The Facilities Technician receives direction from the Facilities Manager and the 1st shift maintenance lead along with work orders from the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). The Facilities Technician must have solid communicative skills, be a self-starter, dependable, and possess and the capability of interacting in a professional manner with company personnel across three separate facilities. Requirements Requirements To be considered for the Facility Maintenance Technician role, you must have the following minimum qualifications: A minimum of 3 years of facilities maintenance in a commercial or industrial environment. Carpentry experience. Understand and have the ability to work with 110V circuits. Basic plumbing capabilities. Proficient in patching and repairs of walls. Painting experience. Experience on working with scissor lifts. Computer skills. Experience with a CMMS is a plus. Organized and detailed oriented. Can work independently. Education and Experience: High School or GED diploma required. Technical training in technical fields including carpentry and electrical, etc. preferred. Experience may be substituted for training.
