Description
Description The Facilities and Safety Manager is responsible for ensuring a safe, secure, compliant, and well-maintained environment for clients, families, staff, and visitors at the Autism Treatment Center. This position oversees facility operations, safety programs, emergency preparedness, environmental health and safety compliance, vendor management, maintenance activities, and risk management initiatives. Oversee the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and repair of buildings, grounds, equipment, and systems. Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, security, and other facility systems. Coordinate facility inspections and corrective actions to ensure a clean, safe, and functional environment. Manage facility renovation, expansion, and improvement projects. Maintain inventory of facility equipment, supplies, and maintenance materials. Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and service providers to ensure quality work and cost-effective services. Monitor facility budgets and approve expenditures within authorized limits. Oversee the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and repair of buildings, grounds, equipment, and systems. Experience Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in facilities management, safety management, healthcare operations, behavioral health, or a related environment. Experience managing building systems, maintenance programs, and regulatory compliance. Experience in healthcare, educational, or human services settings preferred. Experience working in autism services, developmental disability services, or pediatric healthcare environments preferred.
