Description LifeSouth Community Blood Centers is looking for an enthusiastic, team-oriented, and goal-driven, individual to join the team as a Facilities and Supplies Specialist in Albertville, AL. This position is responsible for activities related to the daily cleaning and maintenance of the facility and grounds as well as ordering, receiving and expensing supplies. Must also meet and maintain LifeSouth driver's eligibility requirements - Ability to use various floor care machines and other electronic equipment necessary to facilitate daily cleaning and maintenance - Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals - Interact professionally with all customers, both external and internal - Ability to multitask and prioritize - Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing - Two years of facilities experience preferred - Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) preferred - Knowledge of building and grounds maintenance, including the daily and overall upkeep of all assigned areas preferred Who We Are LifeSouth is a non-profit community blood bank serving more than 150 hospitals in Alabama, Florida, Georgia and Tennessee.
