QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma/GED required
Associates or Technical Degree preferred
Background in Community Education preferred
Successful background check required

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES NEEDED:

Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with diverse groups of people. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to build positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Knowledge of practices related to Community Education and registration software preferred.

The Facilities and Youth Enrichment Program Specialist is responsible for organizing and overseeing district and community use of facilities and assisting with the development and management of Community Education youth enrichment programs. The role supports Coordinators and Directors in implementing, evaluating, and improving programs and processes. Fostering positive, effective relationships with independent contractors, instructors, colleagues, students, families, and the public to ensure the success of facility use and enrichment initiatives.
