Description The Facilities Assistant will provide support for the care and upkeep of all church facilities and all approved church events including maintenance, cleaning, set-up, and repair activities. This is a full-time position and reports to the Facilities Director. Job Responsibilities: Provide support for facility repairs and maintenance. Ensure cleanliness and readiness of all rooms, restrooms, common areas, and sanctuary spaces. Maintenance of grounds relative to landscaping and accessibility (snow/salt). Support setup and teardown for CCC weekly services, ministry events, and staff events. Oversee building access and ensure facilities are properly secured at opening and closing. Requirements Qualifications: Be in a dynamic and growing relationship with Jesus. Able to work weekend or evenings. Ability to collaborate and connect relationally with people. Demonstrate the ability to adapt and learn with a strong work ethic. Committed to the mission and vision of Christ Community Chapel (CCC) and willing to become a church member. Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods standing and walking throughout church facilities. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times. Must be able to bend, lift, stretch, climb, and crawl to maintain equipment and buildings. Must be able to perform work in a variety of weather conditions.
