Description Starting Wage: $19.06/hour Department: Facilities Reports To: Facilities Management Location: All City Market Locations Union Position UE Local 203: Non-exempt, Grade 5 Summary City Market Co-Op is seeking a Facilities Assistant III to perform maintenance, inspection, cleaning, and customer service tasks, to ensure the safety and comfort of our cherished customers, co-workers, and community. Day-to-Day Duties Completing repairs in a timely manner to equipment, building or grounds including but not limited to kitchen equipment, light carpentry, plumbing fixtures, painting, clearing snow, etc. Coordinating facilities projects with minimal guidance, including light construction, moving equipment/waste, painting, and documentation. Assisting the Facilities Manager with the maintenance and cleaning related projects. Performing building, equipment, and facilities inspections as needed. Providing excellent customer service to community members and co-workers. Compliance with established City Market procedures and practices regarding operations, sales, safety, and security. May be required to perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications One year of maintenance or contracting experience OR three years of custodial experience required. High School diploma or GED preferred. Valid driver’s license preferred.
